The kensui is flat-walled, like Magemono Kensui. Hold it like you would magemono kensui, hand flat and just holding the walls. Don’t try to rehold underneath after you’ve initially picked it up.
Juuden ladies have taught Glenn to take hishaku from 6’. However, he previously learned to take from 3’.
Glenn was originally taught that you can use 3 trays for this temae: Wakasa, Haneda, Matsu-no-ki. However, juuden ladies are adamant that you may only use wakasa-bon.
