Wipe in a ku-tsu-ri-i shape, a stylized version of 圓 (Ennosai no en). Lift fukusa slightly between characters.
- 「く」 on the upper portion of the bon
- 「つ」 below
- 「り」 to finish the bottom
- 「い」 around the outer edge.
- (Always on the flat base of the bon, not the rim).
