- [?] TODO Do you really expect the water to boil in time if you start with just cold mizu? In Ennosai book, he just says to use more sumi (?). ➕ 2023-04-29
If using a non-ceramic kogo for ro season, you should put a tsubaki leaf in to shield the interior from the neriko. Then during shozumi, you throw the leaf into the sumitori.
Kyaku Notes
Ro
Rochuu haiken:
- Shokyaku goes to the ro (with osaki-ni) when teishu starts shobaki.
- Tsume departs from the ro (with osaki-ni) when teishu finishes laying the tenzumi.
Kogo haiken:
- Shokyaku asks douzo o-kogo no haiken after host places incense and closes the lid of the kogo.
- Shokyaku retrieves the kogo once teishu stands with haiki.
Questions:

- O-ko wa?
