Do not tie the chaire tight. Pull the inner loop very tight (to keep the lid tight), but when actually tying the knot, keep it light and fluffy. You should only need to gently pull at the knot to undo it during temae. The rear knot (Uchidome) should be perky, but not totally vertical. suzuki
