- Using your fukusa, first close the lid completely.
- Then, without refolding, fold the fukusa back in half (using L like blade, ie natsume kiyome) and make the hiragana こ on the lid.
- Wipe upper half circle, then lower half circle.
- Fukusa should be completely flat on the lid (no tilting).
- Be sure to fully wipe the top and bottom. Don’t cut the strokes short.
