Serving and Q&A
Q&A and serving happening at the same time. Dario will stay out and answer questions, while Aislynn, Gerardo, and Kristina handle serving.
- Before starting questions, we all serve higashi. Everybody has a tray and walks one-by-one down the line. Guests will take higashi from the tray on their own.
- Once higashi is served, Dario will open up Q&A.
- (It will be kind of busy, so difficult to start Q&A before that).
- Remaining three immediately begin whisking and serving tea.
- Tea will be whisked in batches of 2-3, then poured into mugs.
- (TODO: Measure amounts to avoid guessing on the day).
- No need to stick with any one role. Feel free to whisk some, serve some.
- Tea will be whisked in batches of 2-3, then poured into mugs.
- When serving, give mugs to guests by hand.
- After you serve your mug, look around to see if anybody is done.
- Try not to come back without an empty mug once people have started finishing.
- Only carry one mug at a time.
Don’t worry about cleaning mugs until all mugs are returned. Get mugs out as quickly as possible to get everybody their tea. Cleaning can happen after.
